These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and Adhishtanam Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15413476. SKANDA DATA is the brand of Adhishtanam Limited, under which software such as this is sold. In these Terms, "SKANDA DATA", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Adhishtanam Limited.

These Terms govern your use of the LJ Data Terminal software application and any associated documentation (collectively, the "Software"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

1. The Software

LJ Data Terminal is a non-networked, standalone digital software application designed for secure data management. A core feature of the Software is that all data, files, and information you input, create, or manage within the Software ("Your Data") is stored exclusively on your local computer or storage device. Your Data is not transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by our servers or any third party.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Software on a single device that you own or control for your personal or internal business purposes.

3. Fees, Subscriptions, and Cancellation

3.1. Subscriptions & Billing

The Software is available under recurring subscription plans. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees, which will be billed at the start of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or yearly). Your subscription will automatically renew for the same duration unless cancelled. We use a third-party merchant to handle all payment processing.

3.2. Refund Policy

Eligibility for Refund: You are entitled to a full refund of your subscription fee if you request a cancellation and refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal date. No refunds will be provided after this 14-day period.

How to Request a Refund: To request a refund, please contact our Customer Support team at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase or renewal. In your request, include your name, order number, and the email address used to subscribe.

Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and credited back to the original payment method.

3.3. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will become effective at the end of your current paid billing period, and you will continue to have access to the Software until this period ends.

How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription directly through your account settings within the application or by contacting our Customer Service team at [email protected]. We recommend submitting cancellation requests at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date to ensure it is processed in time.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the security, confidentiality, and integrity of Your Data. Because the Software operates entirely offline, we have no access to Your Data and cannot assist with its recovery. You are responsible for implementing and maintaining your own security measures, including regular backups and physical security of the device on which the Software is installed.

5. Intellectual Property

The Software is the property of Adhishtanam Limited and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited license to use the Software, not ownership rights.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in London, United Kingdom.
